The film ‘Kalakaar’ boast of three lovely tunes, good cinematography, editing and Harish Raj has delivered what he can in his acting. The sole draw back of this film is the first half of the film and second half is loaded with many intriguing moments. It is in the post interval the role of Dwarakish as director in the cinema brush the memory of his relationship, quarrel with Dr.Vishnuvardhana.

‘Kalakaar’ has a good suspense and breaking moments in the last fifteen minutes the dream chaser achieves his goal. The care taken for the second half is taken for the first half this could have been a finer spinner. The voice over of gentleman hero Ramesh Aravind, the presence of Shivarajakumar, Vijay producer K Manju and others come in one scene at the premier of ‘Kalakaar’ film inside the film.

Hari is interested in cinema but his parents are against to it. Nothing goes in to his mind other than cinema. He is bitten by the fortune and he is a dream chaser. In this dream he chases as an ordinary clap boy he raises to the level of big hero and this is where his father helps in the distribution of the film. He gets back his dream girl and for that the heroine Suman comes to his rescue. Back to square one Hari is still a clap boy.

Harish Raj playing a full length role is effortless. He has that ability to take on any scene. When he arrives as a Malayalam lady he is to the T. Suman Ranganth has rendered good support and Radhika Gandhi has miles to go. Dwarakish has the right role in this film. Vishwa in the comedy is boring. Once again a stiff role for Avinash! Sudha Narasimharaju does not add to the film. Routine for Kishori Ballal as grandma!

Giridhar Diwan has given three lovely tunes and HM Ramachandra is fabulous in his camera work.

This is worth watching once!
